Cabaret Fundraiser
Please join us for our 2nd Annual Glynis Bergsma Robbins Memorial Scholarship Cabaret Fundraiser. With a phenomenal lineup of Charlotte performers, this one night only event is dedicated to raising money for our scholarship fund, which allows young performers, who otherwise would not be able to, attend our 2025 LOTUS Arts Summer Intensive. The theme for the evening is "Back To The Future."

Spring Awakening
Based on the 1891 play by the same name, this coming of age rock-infused musical follows the lives of teenagers in the late 19th century as they explore love, desire, and their own sexualities.

Content Warning: This show has extremely mature adult content and themes including, but not limited to, references to/depictions of sex, masturbation, sexual violence, domestic violence and abuse, suicide, and abortion. It also includes a significant amount mature language. Recommended for ages 15+.

James and the Giant Peach, Jr.
Based on Roald Dahl's famous book, this musical adventure follows James and a group of human-sized insect friends as they sail across the ocean on a magical giant peach!

All roles in this show will be open to current 3rd-12th graders.​

Our first show in our 2025 LOTUS Arts Summer Intensive Series is open to rising K-9th Graders in the fall of 2025.

Everyone who registers for the program is cast in the production. Young performers will spend two weeks learning the material and rehearsing the show. The two weeks will result in a weekend of public performances!

A Chorus Line
The final show in our 2025 LOTUS Arts Summer Intensive is open rising 9th graders through rising sophomores in college.
​
This summer, we will tackle this iconic dance musical with teens in a summer stock like program. In just ten days, we will learn, rehearse, and mount a professional level production. The program will also include master classes with various theatre/dance professionals in the Charlotte area.
