We are thrilled to announce our 2nd production of 2025...
James and The Giant Peach
Based on Roald Dahl's famous book, this musical adventure follows James and a group of human-sized insect friends as they sail across the ocean on a magical giant peach!
Audition Information:
Auditions for this production are open to ALL current 3rd-12th graders.
There will be both PRINCIPAL ROLE auditions and ENSEMBLE Auditions.
Read below to see which choice is right for you!
Principal Role Auditions:
Principal role auditions are for those actors who are interested in auditioning for one of the principal or featured characters in the show.​

Anyone auditioning for a principal/featured role must prepare a pre-approved cut of a song from the show.
This will be emailed to you after you sign up.
​
Ensemble Auditions:
​​
Ensemble auditions are for those actors who want to be in the show,
but are NOT interested in singing/speaking by themselves.
​
Anyone auditioning for ensemble will NOT need to prepare anything in advance of the audition. You will learn a dance with everyone else auditioning and then be placed in the appropriate ensemble group.

Date: Sunday, December 15th
Time: 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Location: LUMI School of Musical Theatre

Regardless of if you are auditioning for a Principal Role or Ensemble,
you will be expected to stay for the ENTIRE audition time.
After you sign up for the audition, you will receive an email with the link to audition material.
Video Submissions
It is our STRONG preference that anyone interested in this production attend the in person auditions. However, if you are unavailable, you will have the ability to submit a video audition.
Video submissions MUST be submitted by the end of the day on Saturday, December 14th.

Rehearsals: Sundays between 1-7PM, March 16-May 18 (no rehearsal April 6)
Rehearsal Location: LUMI School of Musical Theatre
​Tech Rehearsals: Sunday, May 25 -Wednesday, May 28 (Times TBD)

Performance Dates:
May 29th and 30th at 7:00 PM
May 31st at 2:00 and 7:00 PM

Tech/Performance Location: 9106 Bryant Farms Road

ALL actors cast in this production must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and performances.

Participation Fee:
Please note that there is a $300 participation fee for everyone cast in the production
Producing a full musical is costly, and the participation fee helps to cover rehearsal and performance space rent, production elements such as costumes, scenery, and props, as well as artistic team salaries.
Part of our mission is making the arts accessible to ALL. If the participation fee is a barrier for you/your family, please fill out our scholarship application. We are also happy to work out payment plans for anyone participating and you will discuss that with us once cast.
