LOTUS Intern Program
Hands on experience in a warm, nurturing environment for teens interested in arts education or production.
LOTUS interns are an important part of our team during camp! They are given hands on experience and opportunities in the areas of choreography, musical direction, direction, visual art instruction, and theatrical production/design depending on their interests.

This summer, we are thrilled to offer our LOTUS Intern Program in a whole new way for rising 9th graders!

Program Information
The LOTUS Intern Program has been completely redesigned for Rising 9th Graders for the summer of 2025!
Designed for teens interested in working with children (primarily K - 5th graders) in the area of arts education and production, this hybrid program will bridge the gap between camper and counselor and allow for a smoother transition for young teens into leadership roles.

LOTUS Interns will have the opportunity to audition for and perform in the production just like every other camper. However, when they are not rehearsing for the show, they will spend their time assisting lead counselors/production staff in the areas of direction, choreography, musical direction, visual art, design, creative drama, and more.
​
LOTUS Interns will be able to choose whether or not they wish to perform. If an individual wants to solely assist with the production/camp instruction, they are not required to perform as part of the show.
​
The program is designed to give teens the opportunity to work HANDS-ON with younger artists in a warm, safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. It will give them a taste of what being a counselor is like, while still allowing them to perform and have fun alongside younger campers and friends!

Program Details
While it is ideal for LOTUS Interns to be available for an entire camp session, we will possibly accept LOTUS Interns for partial sessions as counselor assistants (not performing in the show) if space allows.
